An independent investigation isn't too much to ask. It's the bare minimum. Jay's family deserves that much.
Close enough to Chicago that this hits home for a lot of us. People from here go to Electric Forest every year. This is terrifying.
28 years old with his whole life ahead of him. Gone. And the people who were supposed to have his back just drove home. Rest easy Jay.

That call to police on Monday morning is the piece that doesn't let me rest. He was scared. He reached out. And then he's gone.
