MOE McCOY IS STILL BUILDING — AND THAT MAY BE HIS GREATEST ROLE YET

From hip-hop to filmmaking, from stand-up comedy to aviation, Moe McCoy refuses to let one title define him. Now the Michigan creative is entering another chapter as a founding influencer and content partner with Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN — Some people spend their lives trying to figure out what they are supposed to become.

Moe McCoy decided he could become more than one thing.

Father. Filmmaker. Actor. Writer. Comedian. Entrepreneur. Music artist. Content creator. And now, aspiring pilot.

To some, he is Moe Money McCoy. Others recognize him through Fireproof TV or his developing Hood Fades movement.

But McCoy's own description may say more about him than any résumé ever could.

“What I want people to know first is that I’m still building.”

That sentence is the foundation of the Moe McCoy story.

At a point when many people begin protecting what they have already accomplished, McCoy is still adding chapters.

And there have already been plenty.

FROM GRAND RAPIDS TO LOS ANGELES

McCoy's creative story began in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with hip-hop.

Music gave him his first vehicle for storytelling. But eventually, simply telling those stories through songs wasn't enough.

He wanted people to see them.

That desire opened the door to filmmaking.

Writing allowed him to develop the ideas. Acting put him inside the story. Directing gave him control of the vision. Editing allowed him to shape the finished product.

And music remained there, helping him give those stories emotion.

For McCoy, filmmaking became the place where all of his abilities could meet.

“I love taking an idea that only exists in my head and creating something other people can watch and connect with.”

That creative journey would eventually stretch from Michigan to Los Angeles, where McCoy continued developing his voice and expanding his experience in entertainment.

MORE THAN 60 FEATURE FILMS. THOUSANDS OF VIDEOS.

McCoy's body of work is not theoretical.

He says he has contributed to more than 60 feature films and created thousands of videos.

But even with that experience, education remained important.

McCoy earned his Bachelor's Degree in Digital Cinematography and later his Master's Degree in Media Design from Full Sail University, graduating as salutatorian.

Those accomplishments reveal something important about the man behind the camera.

McCoy isn't simply interested in being seen.

He wants to understand the craft.

He wants to master it.

And then he wants to build something with it.

That desire ultimately helped produce Fireproof TV, another platform for McCoy's expanding creative vision.

Then came comedy.

Standing on a stage with a microphone requires a different kind of courage than standing behind a camera.

For McCoy, comedy became another storytelling tool — a way of turning life's struggles, lessons and everyday absurdities into something audiences could share.

“PUT THE GUNS DOWN, PICK UP THE GLOVES.”

Perhaps one of the strongest examples of McCoy's desire to create with purpose is Hood Fades.

Its message is simple:

“Put the guns down, pick up the gloves.”

Behind those words is a larger idea.

McCoy wants entertainment to do more than entertain.

He wants creativity to become a vehicle for community, opportunity and intervention.

Hood Fades represents a belief that young people can redirect energy that might otherwise lead toward violence into something competitive, productive and positive.

And McCoy wants to see that concept reach additional communities.

It is part of a long-term vision that stretches far beyond personal fame.

“Ultimately, I want to build something my family can be proud of and something that creates opportunities for other people.”

AND THEN MOE LOOKED UP

For a man accustomed to looking through a camera lens, one of McCoy's newest dreams required him to look somewhere else.

Up.

Aviation has become another serious goal.

McCoy says working around airplanes — and eventually taking a discovery flight — transformed curiosity into ambition.

He has also completed recent American Airlines training in Dallas, an experience that gave him an even deeper appreciation for aviation and the people responsible for making air travel possible.

But he doesn't simply want to work around airplanes.

Moe McCoy wants to fly one.

“Aviation represents freedom, responsibility, and possibility to me.”

Becoming a pilot is now another goal he is pursuing step by step.

And somehow, when you understand McCoy's personality, adding “pilot” to filmmaker, actor, writer and comedian doesn't seem unusual at all.

It seems almost inevitable.

SUCCESS DOESN'T REMOVE THE STRUGGLE

The résumé may look impressive.

The road hasn't always been.

McCoy speaks openly about balancing family, employment, education and independent creative projects.

There is also one challenge nearly every independent filmmaker understands:

Money.

Funding a vision before the rest of the world sees its value is difficult.

So is convincing people to believe in something before there is proof that it will work.

McCoy has also experienced setbacks involving his content and channels.

But his response has remained consistent.

Adjust.

Learn.

Keep moving.

He credits his faith, his children and his belief in what he is building with keeping him focused.

“I try to learn from the setback and figure out the next move.”

That may be one of the most important lessons in his entire story.

ENTER ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ALKALINE H2O

McCoy's next chapter now includes another growing independent brand.

Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O.

McCoy has joined the company as a founding influencer and content partner, bringing something much larger than social-media reach to the relationship.

He brings production capability.

He brings acting.

He brings writing.

He brings comedy.

He brings music.

And, perhaps most importantly, he understands storytelling.

McCoy sees an opportunity to incorporate the brand naturally into original entertainment rather than simply holding up a bottle for an advertisement.

“I know how to take a message and turn it into a story, a comedy moment, a song, or a short video.”

That distinction could become extremely important as Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O continues expanding its creator network.

Traditional advertising tells consumers what a product is.

Creators can show people where that product fits into life.

And McCoy has the ability to approach that assignment from several directions.

“My filmmaking experience helps me create the visuals, acting helps me deliver the message, and comedy helps me connect with people.”

A CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP, NOT JUST AN ENDORSEMENT

McCoy says the creative possibilities surrounding the partnership played an important role in his decision to become part of the Absolutely Amazing family.

As a founding influencer and content partner, he saw an opportunity to participate rather than simply endorse.

That matters.

Because Moe McCoy has spent his career creating worlds.

Now Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O has handed him another product, another platform and another story to help build.

The collaboration also connects McCoy with the company's broader USA Hydration Restoration Project, creating additional opportunities for storytelling, community engagement and original content.

For a creator accustomed to working across multiple disciplines, it is a natural fit.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Ask Moe McCoy what he wants people to understand about where he is today and he doesn't talk like someone reaching the end of his journey.

He talks like somebody at the beginning.

Film prepared him for something.

Music prepared him for something.

Comedy prepared him.

Business prepared him.

Fatherhood prepared him.

The setbacks prepared him.

And now aviation is teaching him something different altogether.

“Every chapter has helped prepare me for the next one.”

That may ultimately be the real Moe McCoy story.

Not that one person became a filmmaker, actor, comedian, musician, entrepreneur and future pilot.

But that he never accepted the idea that becoming one thing meant abandoning the possibility of becoming another.

At every stage, McCoy has kept something from the chapter before it.

Now he is bringing all of it forward.

And his message to anybody wondering whether it is too late to pursue another dream is simple:

You don't have to erase who you've already become.

You can build on it.

You can learn again.

You can dream again.

And you can begin another chapter.

Moe McCoy certainly is.

Laugh loud. Love hard. Dream bigger… KEEP FADE'N!

HOW GOOGLE HELPED OPEN THE DOOR: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MEDIA BRINGS TV, RADIO AND DIRECT ACCESS TO CONSUMERS

HOUSTON — For years, major media companies controlled the path between content and consumers.

If you wanted television, you needed a cable company. If you wanted radio, you needed a traditional station. If you wanted national distribution, you often needed a large corporate partner standing between your product and the customer.

That model is changing.

And for Absolutely Amazing Media, one of the biggest pieces of that change has been the Google ecosystem.

Through Android distribution and Google Play access, independent media platforms now have a direct path to consumers carrying a phone, tablet, television device or compatible streaming hardware.

For Absolutely Amazing Media, that has helped turn two growing platforms — AbsolutelyAmazingTV.com and DinnerviewsRadio.com — into something much larger than individual websites.

It has helped create a connected media system.

FROM AN IDEA TO A CONSUMER PLATFORM

The vision behind Absolutely Amazing Media has always been bigger than simply launching another streaming service.

The goal was to create a place where consumers could find entertainment, music, television, movies, DJs, original programming, news, culture and independent voices without being locked into the traditional media model.

That vision produced two major pieces.

Absolutely Amazing TV became the visual entertainment side.

Dinnerviews Radio became the music and audio side.

Then came an important development:

Google Play.

Dinnerviews Radio's app successfully entered the Google Play ecosystem, putting the station directly in front of Android users and giving listeners another way to access programming beyond simply typing a website address.

That may sound like a small technical step.

It isn't.

For an independent media company, being accessible through one of the world's largest mobile ecosystems changes the conversation.

Suddenly, the consumer doesn't have to understand how the technology works.

They simply tap.

And listen.

GOOGLE DIDN'T CREATE THE MOVEMENT — IT HELPED MAKE ACCESS EASIER

Absolutely Amazing Media built the platforms.

Its DJs built the programming.

Its creators built the content.

Its audience created the momentum.

But technology companies such as Google have helped create the infrastructure that allows independent businesses to reach consumers in ways that were once available primarily to major corporations.

That distinction is important.

This is not about claiming that Google selected one independent company over another or personally endorsed every product carried on the platform.

It is about something arguably more powerful:

Access.

When an independent company can place its application inside the same ecosystem consumers already use every day, the gap between a small brand and a national brand gets a little smaller.

For Absolutely Amazing Media, that means someone can discover the company through a social-media post, visit DinnerviewsRadio.com, download the Android application and begin listening without ever walking into a traditional radio station's coverage area.

There is no geographic signal limit.

Houston can reach New York.

Michigan can hear Houston.

Germany can hear a DJ in America.

And an independent artist can potentially reach a listener on the other side of the world.

TWO EXPERIENCES. ONE GROWING MEDIA NETWORK.

The larger strategy becomes clearer when AbsolutelyAmazingTV.com and DinnerviewsRadio.com are viewed together.

One gives the consumer a television and entertainment experience.

The other delivers music, DJs, specialty programming and personality-driven radio.

Instead of forcing customers to jump between unrelated brands, Absolutely Amazing Media is building an ecosystem where each property can introduce consumers to the others.

A radio listener can discover the television platform.

A TV customer can discover the radio station.

A reader of The SouthSide Signal can discover both.

And a customer introduced through Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O or BottleConnect can be connected directly into that same network.

That's where this becomes more than entertainment.

It becomes infrastructure.

THE CONSUMER IS THE REAL WINNER

Technology is at its best when it removes friction.

Consumers don't care about servers, distribution agreements, app development or backend systems.

They care about one question:

“Can I get what I want easily?”

That is where Google's ecosystem becomes significant.

Android and Google Play have helped normalize a world where consumers expect nearly every service they use to be available from the device already in their hand.

For Absolutely Amazing Media, meeting the customer there is essential.

No complicated setup.

No hunting for a station frequency.

No requirement to live within a certain broadcasting radius.

Just access.

And once the consumer is inside the ecosystem, the company's larger vision begins to make sense.

Watch what you want.

Listen to what you want.

Discover new content.

Support independent creators and businesses.

And do it from devices consumers already own.

THE INDEPENDENT MEDIA REVOLUTION

There was a time when launching a television network required enormous infrastructure.

Launching a radio station required transmitters, spectrum and geographic reach.

Today, an entrepreneur with the right technology, content and distribution strategy can begin building something very different.

Absolutely Amazing Media is attempting to take full advantage of that shift.

And platforms like Google Play are part of what makes that possible.

The opportunity is no longer limited to the companies that own the biggest towers.

The opportunity increasingly belongs to the companies that can produce compelling content, earn attention and make access simple.

That's the movement.

And Absolutely Amazing Media believes it is just getting started.

LOCAL HERO: ALVIN ISD TEACHER GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR STUDENTS

ALVIN, TEXAS — October 9, 2026

Some educators teach lessons.

Others leave an impact that reaches far beyond the classroom.

At Walt Disney Elementary in Alvin ISD, Fundamental Skills teacher Jo Meek is being recognized for doing exactly that.

Meek was recently named KPRC 2’s Teacher of the Month, but according to the families whose lives she has touched, her commitment to students—especially children with special needs—cannot be measured by an award alone.

Parents describe a teacher who continues showing up even after the school bell rings.

She has volunteered her time on weekends.

She has helped families during the summer months.

And in one particularly powerful example of compassion, Meek reportedly spent one of her days off at the hospital with a student’s mother so the parent would not have to go through the experience alone.

That is more than teaching.

That is service.

That is compassion.

That is community.

Educators working with students who have special needs often become an important part of the support system surrounding an entire family. In Meek’s case, families say she has embraced that responsibility with patience, dedication and genuine care.

Her recognition serves as a reminder that some of the biggest heroes in our communities are not always standing in front of cameras or receiving national attention.

Sometimes they are standing inside an elementary school classroom, helping a child take the next step.

Sometimes they are giving up a Saturday.

Sometimes they are answering a family during summer break.

And sometimes they are simply sitting beside a worried mother in a hospital room, making sure she knows she is not alone.

The SouthSide Signal salutes Jo Meek for representing the very best of education and community service.

Awards recognize accomplishments.

But actions reveal character.

And this Alvin ISD teacher is showing her students one of the most important lessons of all:

Caring for people still matters.

HOUSTON — The beverage business is changing, and for Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O, that changing marketplace could represent a major opportunity.

Industry research continues to point toward growth in the broader non-alcoholic beverage sector. One widely cited market study projects the global non-alcoholic beverage market to expand at a 6.7% compound annual growth rate through 2034, potentially growing from roughly $987 billion in 2024 to nearly $1.9 trillion by the end of the forecast period. Yahoo Finance

That distinction matters: the 6.7% figure is a projected global annual growth rate, not a report that U.S. beverage sales suddenly increased 6.7% this year.

But the bigger story remains the same: consumers are spending heavily across non-alcoholic beverage categories, while hydration, wellness, convenience and alternative beverage choices continue to influence what gets placed inside coolers and on retail shelves.

A Houston Brand Betting on Water

Houston-based Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O is positioning itself directly inside that opportunity with its 9.5+ pH alkaline water, including its new 1-liter format.

The company isn't simply trying to place another bottle of water on the shelf. Its strategy combines product sales, independent retail distribution, online marketplaces, media exposure and direct-to-consumer marketing.

That approach could become increasingly important in a crowded beverage industry where shelf space is valuable and smaller brands must compete against companies with enormous advertising and distribution budgets.

For Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O, the pitch is straightforward:

Get the bottle seen.
Get the bottle tried.
Get the bottle reordered.

The company's 1-liter bottle carries a suggested retail price of $3.75, giving participating retailers an opportunity to position it as a premium hydration product rather than competing exclusively on bargain-water pricing.

Consumers Are Looking Beyond Traditional Drinks

There is broader evidence that consumers are exploring non-alcoholic alternatives. NIQ has previously reported significant growth in certain non-alcoholic beverage segments, while health, wellness and changing consumer habits continue to influence purchasing decisions. NIQ

For an independent brand, however, a growing market does not guarantee success.

Distribution matters.

Repeat customers matter.

Retail relationships matter.

And perhaps most importantly, brand recognition matters.

That's where Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O is attempting to separate itself.

Rather than relying on the bottle alone, the company has built an expanding ecosystem around the product involving Absolutely Amazing Media, Dinnerviews Radio, Absolutely Amazing TV, The SouthSide Signal and BottleConnect™.

The result is an unusual model: the company can sell the beverage while simultaneously owning media channels capable of promoting it.

From Houston Shelves to a Larger Stage

The next test is execution.

Can a Houston-born independent water company convert growing consumer interest in premium beverages into larger retail placement, repeat case orders and eventually broader distribution?

That is the part of the story that won't be decided by a market forecast.

It will be decided one cooler, one retailer and one customer at a time.

But with a massive beverage marketplace continuing to evolve, Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O believes it has built its product at exactly the right time.

And Houston may only be the beginning.

CURTIS FLOWERS DIES AT 56 AFTER SPENDING MORE THAN TWO DECADES FIGHTING FOR HIS FREEDOM

The SouthSide Signal Exclusive

Curtis Flowers, the Mississippi man whose case became one of the most disturbing examples of repeated prosecution in modern American criminal justice, has died at the age of 56.

Flowers spent more than 22 years behind bars after being accused of the 1996 murders of four people inside Tardy Furniture in Winona, Mississippi.

He always maintained his innocence.

What followed was extraordinary.

Flowers was tried six separate times for the same crime.

Convictions were overturned. Trials ended without final resolution. His case climbed all the way to the United States Supreme Court, where his conviction was ultimately reversed after the Court found that prosecutors had improperly excluded Black jurors.

After more than two decades of incarceration, Flowers was finally released.

The charges against him were later dismissed.

But freedom came after a tremendous price had already been paid.

Flowers lost years that could never be returned.

He entered prison as a young man and emerged decades later carrying the weight of a legal battle that had consumed much of his adult life.

His story eventually drew national attention, including a major feature on 60 Minutes, bringing renewed focus to questions surrounding jury selection, prosecutorial conduct, wrongful conviction, race, and the enormous consequences of failures inside the justice system.

Now, his story has reached its final chapter.

Curtis Flowers is dead at 56.

But the questions surrounding his case will remain.

How does one person get tried six times?

How much is a human life worth after more than 22 years are taken away?

And when the justice system gets it wrong, can any amount of money or any court ruling truly give those years back?

Curtis Flowers lived long enough to walk free.

He lived long enough to tell his story.

And he lived long enough for millions of people to learn his name.

Today, that name becomes part of history.

Curtis Flowers.
56 years old.
Six trials.
More than 22 years imprisoned.
And finally, freedom.

Rest in peace.

KINGDOM CITY, MISSOURI — A quiet 911 call from a child led deputies to a Missouri hotel and ultimately to allegations of murder, kidnapping, and years of abuse involving a former corrections officer.

According to authorities, Callaway County received the call on Sunday, Oct. 4, at approximately 10:27 a.m. The child reportedly told a dispatcher that her father had been holding her and her siblings against their will and beating them for years.

The call was traced to the Baymont Inn and Suites on Jade Road in Kingdom City.

Deputies responded and found Jonathan G. Houston, 44, described in court records as a former corrections officer and former parole and probation officer, at the hotel with seven children.

Authorities say one of the children signaled that she wanted to speak privately with investigators. What the children allegedly told deputies next led to a much more serious investigation.

Court documents allege that the children said Houston killed their mother, his wife of 17 years, on Dec. 1, 2025, inside the hotel room. Some of the children were allegedly present.

According to the court records, the three youngest children were placed in a bathroom while music played. Investigators further allege that the woman’s body was placed inside a trash bag and moved on a hotel dolly to a dumpster.

Her disappearance had reportedly never been formally reported.

One child allegedly told investigators that Houston had discussed a plan to kill their mother the day before her death. Authorities say Houston later admitted during an interview that he had planned the killing and allegedly said he acted because he feared losing custody of the children.

Houston has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping and is being held without bond.

The seven children were placed into protective custody.

KOMU also reported that Houston had been under prior investigation in connection with allegations of sexual assault and assault involving other victims.

The name of the children’s mother has not been publicly released.

This remains an active criminal case.

Houston has been charged but has not been convicted. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

HOUSTON, TEXAS — What started as a bottled water company has evolved into something much larger.

LaMont “DJ LG” aka "The Water King" Gilbert, founder of Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O, has spent years building brands, developing products, marketing independently, creating partnerships, and trying to get his products in front of more customers.

But somewhere along that journey, the mission changed.

The company stopped simply looking for exposure.

It started building its own.

Today, that vision is becoming Absolutely Amazing Media — an independent media ecosystem connecting radio, television, publishing, marketing, business technology, entertainment, and product promotion under one growing umbrella.

And the reason it exists is deeply connected to the road that came before it.

THE RETAIL LANDSCAPE CHANGED

For years, independent mom-and-pop stores played an important role in the growth of Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O.

Those relationships gave the company opportunities to place products directly in front of customers and build awareness one store at a time.

But over time, Gilbert began noticing a change.

The retail structure was shifting.

For a small independent brand, gaining placement, keeping placement, maintaining visibility, and depending on other businesses to consistently market the product became increasingly difficult.

Eventually, Gilbert reached a point where the company had simply had enough.

Instead of continuously asking other businesses for shelf space, exposure, promotion, distribution, and access to customers, Gilbert decided to change the model.

The philosophy became simple:

“We decided to become what we had been looking for from everybody else.”

That decision would ultimately become one of the foundations of Absolutely Amazing Media.

BUILD THE PLATFORM INSTEAD

The idea was no longer just to put a bottle on someone else's shelf.

The idea was to create the shelf.

Create the audience.

Create the programming.

Create the marketing.

Create the distribution.

Create the platform.

Rather than depending entirely on someone else's customer traffic, Gilbert began building direct pathways to consumers through websites, social media, digital commerce, QR technology, television, radio, publishing, and branded media.

What began as a response to changes in retail slowly turned into a larger business strategy.

If the company needed media exposure, it could create media.

If it needed an audience, it could build an audience.

If it needed distribution, it could create more direct forms of distribution.

If it needed a story told, it could publish the story itself.

And if other independent businesses faced the same problem, perhaps the infrastructure could eventually help them too.

That is where the larger vision began to take shape.

THE MOBILE COMMAND CENTER

Much of that work is being coordinated from a space Gilbert created himself.

But calling it simply a garage would miss the point entirely.

Gilbert transformed the space into what he describes as a mobile hydration station, mobile radio station, and marketing satellite office.

It operates as a multipurpose business command center.

Part hydration distribution point.

Part broadcasting studio.

Part content lab.

Part marketing office.

Part digital operations center.

From that self-created satellite office, Gilbert manages product promotion, radio programming, digital marketing, content production, business development, brand strategy, customer engagement, and media operations.

It represents the philosophy behind the entire company:

You do not always need traditional infrastructure to build something meaningful.

Sometimes you create the infrastructure yourself.

THEN CAME DINNERVIEWS RADIO

One of the biggest developments was the launch of DINNERVIEWS RADIO.

The station was built as a 24-hour digital radio platform, but it quickly began developing an identity beyond traditional internet radio.

The programming began blending generations and genres.

Classic R&B.

Hip-hop.

Soul.

Old-school records.

Current music.

DJ mixes.

Exclusive blends.

Independent material.

And programming designed to sound different from what listeners could easily hear elsewhere.

The concept was straightforward:

You may know the song. But you may have never heard it like this.

That philosophy quickly became part of the sound of DINNERVIEWS RADIO.

THEN THE DJs STARTED COMING

As the platform developed, something unexpected began happening.

DJs and entertainers started taking the station seriously.

Some began supplying programming.

Others provided exclusive sets.

Some supplied unreleased material.

Relationships began forming across multiple cities.

The growing lineup included personalities such as DJ AJ Scratch, DJ Hill, Bee Black Beats, Danny D, DJ Ty Boogie, and others joining what Gilbert calls “The Family.”

Gilbert also stepped behind the microphone himself with The DJ LG Show featuring The Family.

Suddenly, this was no longer simply a playlist running around the clock.

It was becoming programming.

Personalities.

Shows.

Brands.

Exclusive content.

Interviews.

Independent music.

And original entertainment.

EXCLUSIVE MUSIC CHANGED EVERYTHING

Another turning point came when DJs and artists began supplying Gilbert with exclusive and unreleased material.

That changed the conversation.

When independent talent begins trusting a platform with music that cannot simply be heard everywhere else, the platform starts moving beyond basic radio.

It begins functioning as a form of distribution.

Exposure.

Discovery.

Promotion.

And artist development.

That opened the door to a much bigger question:

What if Absolutely Amazing Media could help independent talent not only get played, but also get interviewed, written about, promoted, distributed, showcased on video, introduced to new audiences, and integrated into a larger media system?

At that point, the vision began looking less like a radio station and more like an independent media and entertainment network.

RADIO WAS ONLY ONE PIECE

DINNERVIEWS RADIO was never intended to stand alone.

Another major piece was already developing through Absolutely Amazing TV.

That opened the door to something larger:

Radio and television under the same media umbrella.

Instead of building disconnected brands, the goal became creating an ecosystem where each platform could strengthen the others.

A DJ featured on the radio could be interviewed through the publication.

An artist could appear on television.

A business could be promoted using BottleConnect™.

A story could be published by The SouthSide Signal.

A product could be promoted across radio, television, websites, social platforms, and direct customer channels.

Everything could begin feeding everything else.

THE MEDIA ECOSYSTEM

Today, the pieces of that system are becoming clearer.

DINNERVIEWS RADIO

A 24/7 digital radio platform featuring DJs, music, interviews, blends, independent programming, and exclusive content.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TV

A digital television platform designed to bring entertainment directly to consumers.

THE SOUTHSIDE SIGNAL

An independent publishing platform for interviews, profiles, business stories, entertainment coverage, and community storytelling.

BOTTLECONNECT™

A QR and NFC-powered marketing system designed to connect physical products and businesses directly to digital content, customer experiences, reviews, promotions, and websites.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MEDIA

The umbrella bringing those different pieces together.

The goal is not simply to own several brands.

The goal is to make the brands work together.

BOTTLECONNECT CONNECTED THE PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL WORLDS

BottleConnect™ added another dimension to the strategy.

Gilbert had already learned something important through the bottled water business:

A physical product can become a marketing tool.

A bottle does not have to simply hold water.

With a QR code, it can become a doorway.

A doorway to a business.

A menu.

A video.

A promotion.

A review page.

A radio station.

A television platform.

A website.

A story.

Or an entire digital experience.

That concept fits naturally inside Absolutely Amazing Media because it connects physical distribution with digital media.

The bottle becomes part of the advertising.

The advertising becomes part of the media.

And the media sends customers back to the business.

FROM SELLING PRODUCTS TO OWNING ATTENTION

That may be the biggest shift in Gilbert's strategy.

The original mission centered heavily on selling a product.

The newer mission includes something even more valuable:

Owning the relationship with the audience.

Traditional businesses often spend enormous amounts of time trying to get access to somebody else's audience.

Retail stores have customers.

Radio stations have listeners.

Television networks have viewers.

Publications have readers.

Social platforms have followers.

Gilbert's strategy increasingly focuses on building those audiences internally.

Because once a company owns its own audience, every business under the umbrella becomes stronger.

Water can be promoted.

Coffee can be promoted.

BottleConnect™ can be promoted.

Independent artists can be promoted.

Businesses can be promoted.

Events can be promoted.

Programming can be promoted.

And new products can be introduced without beginning from zero each time.

WHY ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MEDIA EXISTS

Absolutely Amazing Media did not begin because Gilbert woke up one morning and decided he wanted to own a media company.

It grew out of necessity.

It grew out of years of trying to get other businesses to provide the visibility, marketing, distribution, exposure, and customer access his brands needed.

Eventually, he stopped asking.

He started building.

That is what makes the story different.

Absolutely Amazing Media was not created simply to enter the entertainment business.

It was created because one entrepreneur decided that depending entirely on other people's platforms was no longer enough.

The company would create its own.

Its own radio.

Its own television.

Its own publication.

Its own marketing technology.

Its own customer pathways.

Its own media.

Its own voice.

THE GARAGE BECAME THE SATELLITE OFFICE

There is something fitting about the fact that much of this is being built from Gilbert's self-created satellite operation.

The space reflects the company itself.

It does multiple jobs.

Hydration happens there.

Broadcasting happens there.

Marketing happens there.

Business development happens there.

Media production happens there.

Planning happens there.

It is not designed to imitate a traditional corporate office.

It is designed to work.

And in an era where technology has removed many of the barriers that once separated independent entrepreneurs from major media companies, that distinction matters.

You no longer need a giant broadcast tower to operate radio.

You no longer need a traditional cable network to distribute television.

You no longer need a printing press to publish stories.

And you do not necessarily need a massive corporate headquarters to build a media company.

You need infrastructure.

Content.

Technology.

Talent.

Distribution.

Consistency.

And an audience.

Gilbert is attempting to build all six.

“THE ORCHESTRA LEADER”

Gilbert often describes himself as “the orchestra leader.”

The phrase fits the role he has gradually assumed.

He is not trying to personally become every DJ, every host, every writer, every marketer, or every entertainer.

He is assembling the pieces.

Connecting people.

Creating platforms.

Building distribution.

Introducing brands.

Finding talent.

And directing the different components toward one larger vision.

Like an orchestra, each individual piece can stand alone.

But the real power comes when everything begins working together.

THIS IS STILL THE BEGINNING

The story of Absolutely Amazing Media is not being presented as a finished success story.

It is still being built.

Programming is expanding.

Websites are developing.

Talent is joining.

Media relationships are forming.

Business models are evolving.

The technology continues to change.

Some ideas will work exactly as planned.

Others will change along the way.

That is what building something from the ground up looks like.

But one thing has already changed permanently.

Gilbert is no longer waiting for somebody else to provide the platform.

He is building one.

And the philosophy behind the company can still be summarized in the same sentence that helped start the entire transition:

“We decided to become what we had been looking for from everybody else.”

From hydration to broadcasting.

From product placement to audience building.

From bottles to media.

From asking for exposure to creating it.

That is the story behind Absolutely Amazing Media.

And according to Gilbert, the story is only getting started.

“Gilbert said they got tired of asking for exposure. I can respect trying to make your own way.”

HOUSTON, TEXAS — September 12, 2026 —

The SouthSide Signal

A Houston entrepreneur who spent years building a water brand from the ground up has just turned his marketing experience into a product that could potentially reach customers around the world.

LaMont “The Waterman” Gilbert, founder of Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O™ and creator of BottleConnect™, has officially released his new digital publication:

THE WATERMAN BLUEPRINT

The BottleConnect Content System: 8 Secrets to Real Growth

The Kindle edition is now available for just $4.99, intentionally priced low enough for entrepreneurs, creators and small-business owners to access the information without a major investment.

A $14.99 paperback edition has also been prepared for Amazon, with the goal of making the physical book affordable while opening the door to Amazon’s international marketplace reach.

Gilbert describes the project as much more than a book.

“This is everything I’ve been learning, testing and actually using — turned into something somebody else can pick up and use.”

The Waterman Blueprint teaches readers how to turn attention into opportunity through stronger social-media hooks, better storytelling, credibility, QR-code marketing, content repurposing and Gilbert’s BottleConnect system.

The formula behind the book is simple:

ATTENTION → CURIOSITY → CREDIBILITY → TRANSFORMATION → OPPORTUNITY

But the larger business story may be what happens next.

With Kindle removing the cost and logistics of printing each digital copy, and Amazon providing access to customers across multiple international marketplaces, the project creates the possibility of enormous scale.

At $4.99 per digital copy, even a fraction of Amazon’s worldwide customer base could transform the publication from a small-business resource into a significant revenue-producing intellectual-property asset.

That is where the potential seven-figure opportunity begins.

This should not be confused with a guaranteed seven-figure Amazon contract. There is no guarantee of sales at that level. The opportunity comes from something Gilbert has spent years building toward:

one product that can be duplicated and sold globally without rebuilding it for every customer.

And the publication itself is connected to something larger.

BottleConnect™ combines branded water bottles, QR technology, digital content, storytelling and direct-response marketing to help businesses turn an everyday product into a physical connection point between a company and its customers.

Gilbert calls the strategy:

“People. Water. Opportunity.”

The new book now gives BottleConnect another entry point.

Someone may first discover the brand through a $4.99 Kindle book, move into the BottleConnect ecosystem, purchase Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O™, or ultimately become a BottleConnect customer.

Gilbert says affordability was intentional.

“I could have charged a lot more. But I want somebody with five dollars to be able to learn something that could help change the way they market themselves.”

The paperback has been positioned at $14.99, while the digital Kindle edition has already been released at $4.99.

For Gilbert, who has spent years developing Absolutely Amazing Alkaline H2O and BottleConnect, the publication represents another stage in turning his experience, intellectual property and marketing system into products capable of traveling far beyond Houston.

And this time, the product doesn't need a truck.

It needs a click.
