A widely shared and unverified story online alleges a dramatic act of revenge involving a local nurse and a police officer.
The posts claim that a 10-year-old boy was shot and killed by police after officers mistook his toy gun for a real weapon during a tense response.
After the officer was reportedly cleared of wrongdoing, rumors suggest the boy’s grandmother—who works as a nurse—encountered the same officer as a patient and allegedly injected him with blood from an HIV-positive individual out of retaliation.
Authorities have not verified any of these claims.
Residents are urged to treat these accounts with caution as no official confirmation or evidence has emerged.
This alleged case, if true, would spark serious conversations about patient trust, professional conduct, and the ripple effects of police actions in the community. Read More... |
Atlanta is mourning the loss of Qualicia "Cidity" Barnes, 33, a rising rapper and nursing student who was fatally shot in a targeted attack on April 8, 2026.
Barnes, who was approximately 14 weeks pregnant, was discovered in her vehicle after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators revealed that Barnes had been in a relationship with a married man, and prosecutors now allege her death was the result of a $30,000 murder-for-hire scheme after she refused to terminate her pregnancy.
Cidity had planned to fly to Detroit that morning to stay with her sister but tragically never made it to the airport.
Originally from Southwest Detroit but established in Atlanta, Barnes collaborated with well-known artists like Icewear Vezzo and was celebrated for her drive, excelling at South College in Chamblee and running her own boutique.
The community continues to seek justice as the high-profile case unfolds in court. Read More... |
